The Constant Gardener Trust
The film is based on the John le Carré novel of the same name. It deals with the issues of international politics, unethical breach of human rights, corporate murder , cover-ups and the conspiracies with secret services.
Carré writes in the book's afterword:
"'by comparison with the reality, my story is as tame as a holiday postcard".
The book is dedicated to Yvette Pierpaoli, a French activist who died during the course of her aid work.

A Most Wanted Man is a thriller/espionage novel by John le Carré, who was once a British agent and Consul in Hamburg. It was published in October 2008 by Scribner in the United States and Hodder & Stoughton in the United Kingdom.
The book is basically about extraordinary rendition, the disappearing of people who are considered an enemy of the state by secret services and sending them abroad to secret prisons for torture.
The Plot:
A young Chechen ex-prisoner arrives illegally in Hamburg, practically uneducated and destitute, but with a claim to a fortune held in a private bank. This novel is based on the contemporary themes of the so called "war on terror", money laundering and the conflicting interests of different officers and agents involved.
