U.S. Chamber of Commerce plots against "opponents"

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, has been working with “private security” and lobbying firms to attack and undermine "opponents".

The companies involved are, among others, Hunton and Williams, whose attorneys solicited private security firms HB Gary Federal, Palantir, and Berico Technologies (Team Themis collectively) to develop a sabotage campaign against certain "opponents".

The private spy company investigated members of the family, including children, of the so called U.S. Chamber of Commerce "opponents".

Aaron Barr, an executive at HB Gary Federal circulated emails and documents with personal lives details and even photos of the opponents' family including their children.

Details were revealed by one of the targets of the action - ThinkProgress.org.

In an email from Aaron Barr to Hunton & Williams attorney John Woods, he points out to the need of reducing exposure so that he won't be identified and shows how Woods and another fellow Hunton attorney Richard Wyatt are "vulnerable" in social media.

The three security companies - Palantir Technologies, HBGary Federal and Berico Technologies - were also implicated in a plot to target the online whistleblower WikiLeaks and some of its prominent supporters

"...choose you this day whom ye will serve.." Joshua 24:15

Egypt's intelligence chief Omar Suleiman is being reported as the possible next president of Egypt.

It also looks like that he is respected by US officials for his cooperation with the Torture Program, as Jane Mayer explains in her book "The Dark Side: The Inside Story of How The War on Terror Turned into a War on American Ideals"

"Each rendition was authorized at the very top levels of both governments….The long-serving chief of the Egyptian central intelligence agency, Omar Suleiman, negotiated directly with top Agency officials. [Former U.S. Ambassador to Egypt] Walker described the Egyptian counterpart, Suleiman, as “very bright, very realistic,” adding that he was cognizant that there was a downside to “some of the negative things that the Egyptians engaged in, of torture and so on. But he was not squeamish, by the way” (pp. 113).

Aljazeera commentators described him as a distinguished and respected man and also reported that in October 1981, his brother
Khalid Ahmed Showqi al-Islambouli arranged and carried out the assassination of president Mubarak's predecessor, Anwar Sadat, during a military parade.

Life in Prison for torture and murder for former Argentina leader

December 22, 2010

Jorge Videla, 85, was Argentina's president from 1976 to 1981 and was considered the architect of the so called "Dirty War" , the war the regime said to be against subversive terrorism .

He was found guilty of torture and murder among other crimes. The 31 prisoners he was convicted of killing were pulled from civilian jail cells and "shot while trying to escape".

During Videla's regime, an estimated 5,000 prisoners were held incomunicado, most of them were tortured and their bodies "disappeared" . It was later revealed that they were dumped , dead or drugged, into the River Plate from aircraft.

After the sentence Videla remained unrepentant and told the court that Argentine society had demanded the crackdown on dissents.

As judge Maria Elba Martinez handed down the sentence she said:

"Videla ... is a manifestation of state terrorism."

Another leader in Argentina's 1976-1983 military junta, Emilio Massera, died on Monday at age 85.

Massera was head of the Navy and operated one of Argentina's most notorious political prison and torture centre, the Naval Mechanics School in Buenos Aires, or ESMA.

Germany, Spain, Italy and France sought Massera over the killings of their citizens during the torture regime in Argentina. They had suspended arrest orders after Argentine courts had declared him unfit to stand trial on health grounds.

Part Two - "The Puppeteers"
The Judges speak: "Judges noticed in all the cases a certain amount of interference on the part of the police, secret services, the security and organs of the State. Instead of helping the magistrates to find out the truth, they went on fiddling records given to Magistrates to hide illegal activities of the Clandestine structures inside these Services."
The investigation of the murder of three policemen by prosecuter prosecutor Felipe Casson led to the revelation of "Gladio" networks around Western Europe, Casson's investigation revealed that a right-wing neo-fascist organization had been working very closely with the Military Secret Services.
