Ex-UK Intel Chief: US Misled Allies on Treatment of Prisoners
Elizabeth Manningham-Buller, former Director General of MI5, the British internal national security agency stated that the United States mislead allies on the torture of foreign prisoners.

In the House of Lords, on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, Manningham-Buller said the Bush administration deliberately hid details of its treatment of prisoners.

The former Director General of MI5 said: “The Americans were very keen that people like us did not discover what they were doing.”
